Dear Friends, Supporters, and Community Members,

The Pink Loerie Foundation, in collaboration with Friends, Partners and Society NPC, ETC Pub Centurion, The People of South Africa Foundation, Maraai’s Soup Kitchen, Fastway Couriers and proudly driven by Mahindra South Africa, is honoured to announce our upcoming initiative: “Mahindra Rise – The Charity Drives June 2025,” taking place from 3 to 16 June 2025.

We are reaching out to any individual or business to open your hearts for this continues winter-drive every year. We humbly request your contribution in bringing dignity, comfort to underprivileged children, the elderly and vulnerable individuals in our communities. With our supporting partners our movement have become a sign of compassion, solidarity and love to those in need.

WHO WE ARE?

 The Pink Loerie Foundation, in collaboration with Friends, Partners and Society NPC, is a passionate, community-driven non-profit with Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) status. We are able to issue Section 18A tax certificates for eligible donations—making your contributions tax-deductible under South African law.

• Mahindra South Africa, a proud partner of this initiative, continues to support meaningful causes across the country.
• ETC Pub Centurion is a vibrant local venue in Gauteng known not only for its hospitality but for its heartfelt support of grassroots humanitarian and LGBTQIA+ initiatives.
• The People of South Africa Foundation delivers swift and effective humanitarian relief across the country, empowering communities with essential aid and sustainable support to rebuild lives with dignity and resilience.
• Maraai’s Soup Kitchen, founded by Marietjie and Suzelle, is committed to providing warm meals and hope to families facing food insecurity.
• Fastway Couriers South Africa, founded in 2008, is a franchise courier service offering affordable, reliable deliveries nationwide. With 300+ franchisees in major cities, it mainly serves small to medium businesses with services like parcel collection, national satchels, and online tracking. The company also supports charitable initiatives, showing a strong community focus.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

We are currently gathering non-perishable food items, hygiene products, monetary donations, and—most importantly—items of value that we can feature in our fundraising auctions and raffles.

If you, your business, or your network are in a position to help, we would be humbly and deeply grateful for donations of any kind, including:

• Canned goods, pasta, rice, long-life milk, tea & coffee
• Soap, toothpaste, sanitary pads, shampoo, deodorant
• Baby products (nappies, formula)
• Medical supplies
• Educational materials and stationery
• Original artwork or prints
• Midweek or weekend accommodation stays
• Flight or travel vouchers
• Restaurant or dining experiences
• Spa and wellness packages
• Theatre, concert, or event tickets
• Gift baskets or hampers

• Luxury or handmade goods
• Signed memorabilia
• Corporate services or gift vouchers

It is very important to highlight that monetary donation are also deeply appreciated, as they help cover logistics, transport, and outreach efforts—amplifying the impact of every item donated.

We understand that times are tough for many, but we truly believe that every contribution—big or small—can become a beacon of hope for someone in need. Even the simplest gesture can make a lasting impact.
